Telecommunications
ManTel will provide clients with three types of services. They are Historical Audits, Management Services and Advisory Services.

Management Services
ManTel Management Services provides the following services:
  • Recovery of historical costs over billed
  • Achievement of improved profitability by tender and/or negotiation
  • Proper inventory management
  • Proper management and cost centre reporting
  • Integration of costs to general ledger
  • Advice of best telecommunication solutions including hardware
  • Audit of ongoing costs

The client investment in this process is dependent on the number of telecommunication services the client has installed.

Advisory Services
ManTel Advisory Services provides totally independent advice on telecommunication solutions for the business. This will include network requirements, hardware solutions, training and tendering processes.
The investment by the client is based on a fee for service usually calculated on an hour basis plus out of pocket expenses.

Historical Audits
The purpose of Historical Audits is to recover costs for incorrect billings from providers. ManTel will audit the historical billings and compare them with the provider agreement to determine any cost recovery opportunity. The fees for historical audits are negotiated individually with clients.
The advantage of this service is that the client pays nothing until costs are recovered. The disadvantage is that there may be future profitable opportunities that are not addressed in this audit. The client may be able to achieve lower future costs. It is recommended that the client either employs ManTel to manage the future billings or delegates to an employee ongoing audit responsibilities.

Contract Management Services
ManTel Contract Management Services involves the negotiation and delivery of improved profitability in all telecommunications services. ManTel will analyse the current needs of the business, prepare tender and/or negotiation documents, provide recommendations and assist in the implementation to deliver the agreed outcomes.

Such cost areas that may require these services are:
  • PABX's
  • Call Centres - both hardware and software
  • Data Networks - broadband, LAN's, WAN's
  • Internal Telecommunications Management
  • Any other telecommunication solutions.
